Brief analysis of the processing process of insulating glass

This paper will briefly analyze the basic processing process of insulating glass

first of all, introduce the types of insulating glass and the five indicators in the national standard of insulating glass. First, classification:

at present, there are two kinds of insulating glass in the domestic market.

1. Trough aluminum insulating glass: this kind of insulating glass was introduced in the 1980s, which is relatively mature, but the processing technology is more complex

2. Adhesive strip insulating glass: this kind of insulating glass has just started in China, but the manufacturing process is simple, so it has a wide range of applications and rapid promotion

II. Five indicators in the national standard of insulating glass:

1, initial dew point

2, sealing test

3, ultraviolet radiation

4, high temperature and high humidity

according to the national testing standard, how can we arrange our production to meet the requirements of insulating glass? Since the two insulating glasses have many similarities in the process flow, such as the cementitious materials used are clay, lime [3], gypsum, volcanic ash, etc., their common process flow is briefly analyzed

1. Glass cutting and blanking:

the original glass is generally colorless float glass or other colored glass, sunshade glass, tempered glass, laminated glass, and the thickness is generally mm. The above glass must comply with the provisions of gb11614 for first-class products and superior products, and can be used only after passing the inspection. Glass cutting can be carried out by hand or machine, but it should meet the size requirements. During the operation of this process, workers should always pay attention to the fact that the glass surface should not be scratched, the internal quality should be uniform, and there should be no obvious defects such as bubbles and slag inclusions

2. Glass cleaning and drying:

machine cleaning must be used for glass cleaning, because manual cleaning cannot guarantee the cleaning quality. Before cleaning, check whether the glass is scratched. In order to ensure the adhesion between sealant and glass, it is best to use deionized water. In addition, in order to ensure water recycling and save water resources, water can be filtered to ensure long-term use. The cleaned glass shall pass the light inspection to check whether there are water drops, water stains and other stains on the surface of the glass. If there are water drops, water stains and other stains, the running speed, heating temperature, air volume and brush clearance of the machine shall be adjusted until the effect is perfect. The washed glass shall be assembled into insulating glass within 1 hour. In addition, it is necessary to ensure that there is no friction and scratch between the glass and the glass. It is best to have a semi-finished glass storage car to separate the glass pieces

3. Assembly of adhesive strip insulating glass and aluminum strip insulating glass:

(1) requirements for the environment: the processing temperature of adhesive strip insulating glass should be between degrees in winter and between degrees in summer

(2) requirements for relative humidity: because the adhesive strip type insulating glass desiccant is powdery, the desiccant will play a slow role after mixing evenly with the adhesive, so it should be ensured that the relative humidity in the adhesive strip assembly area is slightly low

aluminum strip insulating glass assembly:

(1) requirements for the environment: the temperature should also be between degrees

(2) requirements for relative humidity: this kind of insulating glass has slightly lower requirements for relative humidity, which is OK under normal conditions. However, it should be noted that the desiccant should choose qualified products from regular manufacturers to ensure the effective use of desiccant. It is best to use up the desiccant within 24 hours after opening, because polysulfide rubber has high permeability and poor sealing, so double sealing should be adopted. Butyl rubber is used as the first seal to isolate gas. Polysulfide glue is used as the second seal, which is mainly used for bonding, followed by gas isolation. Practice has proved that the service life of insulating glass with unit production seal is only about 5 years, while the service life of insulating glass with double seal can be as long as 20 years or even more. Therefore, the development of double seal insulating glass is the general trend

4. Glass pressing

for the laminated insulating glass pressing, pay attention to the alignment of the edges of the laminated glass. When pressing, reserve a small opening at the back to allow the dried gas to overflow from the small opening, and then seal it immediately after pressing. So far, the processing of rubber strip insulating glass has been completed. For aluminum strip insulating glass, there should be a distance of mm between the outer edge of the aluminum frame and the edge of the glass after lamination, which is used to apply the second layer of sealant. Polysulfide glue should be applied evenly along one side to prevent bubbles. After coating, scrape off the residue on the glass surface. So far, the processing of aluminum strip insulating glass has been completed

5. Placement of insulating glass:

whether the placement of insulating glass is correct or not will also have an impact on the final quality of insulating glass. Whether it is in production, transportation or storage at the construction site, the design requirements of the stacking frame should first take into account the characteristics of insulating glass, and the stacking frame should have a certain inclination. However, the bottom plane and the side should always be kept at 90 degrees, so as to ensure that the bottom edges of the two pieces of insulating glass can be placed vertically on the stacking frame. In addition, it should be noted that the bottom of the glass should not be stained with oil stains, lime and other compatibilizers, because they will erode the second sealant of the hollow glass to varying degrees, thus affecting the sealing performance of the hollow glass 177 portal steel pipe scaffold glass
